Alison Lee Satake is a reporter and writer for business newspaper, the Greater Wilmington Business Journal and women’s magazine, Wilma. In addition to these two publications, her print and video stories have been published by PBS FRONTLINE/World, The Washington Post, the McClatchy News Service, The San Jose Mercury News, The Oakland Tribune, The Wilmington Star-News, and ColorLines magazine.

She is passionate about reporting, writing, and filming local issues that tell larger, global stories.

She is a full-time journalist and part-time journalism instructor in North Carolina. She received her Master’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Graduate School of Journalism.
